There are many kinds of money.

Countries have their own money.

Such as the pound.

In the United Kingdom.

That's the currency of a country.


There is coin money.

These are coins.

And there is paper money.

These are bills.


There is also electronic money.

If you buy something with a Credit card.

Or if you buy something with Bit·coin.


The state takes care of the money.

Mostly the state passes this task on.

It passes it on to a Central bank.
