A prison is a building.
Peolple are locked inside a prison.
They are not allowed to get out.
They have to stay there for a certain time.

A person does a crime.
For example:
- a person robs a bank
- a person kills somebody
- a person does something against the law
The person has to go to the court.
The court sends them to prison.
A prison is one building or more.
The building has got high walls all around it.
The windows are barred.
Entrance and exit are locked.
And protected by guards.
There are different kinds of prisons.
